Belle Valley Volunteer Fire Department Station #36

The Belle Valley Fire Department is a volunteer department located in the easternmost section of Millcreek Township in Erie, Pennsylvania. Your Belle Valley Volunteer Fire Department has been serving the valley for nearly 90 years. With our trained team of nearly 20 active volunteers, we annually respond to an average of 600-plus emergency medical calls, fire suppression calls, vehicle accidents, and rescue situation. We also answer public service calls such as downed wires or trees, and flooded roadways, as well as educate the community on fire safety with events such as National Night Out and fire safety training at Belle Valley Elementary School.

We encourage you to explore our website to learn more about our rich history of service, our incredible volunteers, the services we offer the community and ways you can support our organization by volunteering or donating.

Get Involved
The BVFD can't protect and serve without a wide range of volunteers. Whether you want to become a firefighter, join our auxiliary, or some role in between, we'd love to have you as part of our family.
Services
Belle Valley volunteers respond to fire calls, but also vehicle accidents, emergency medical calls, public safety issues and more. We also work within the community to raise awareness of fire safety and prevention.
Support Us
As a nonprofit volunteer fire department, Belle Valley Fire Department depends greatly on generous support from the community we protect. Every donation helps us with training, equipment, educational events, medical supplies, and more.

Serve Your Community

When you volunteer with the Belle Valley Volunteer Fire Department, you join a community of people committed to protecting the families and businesses in the valley. Whether you are ready to enter the fire service, train on emergency medical procedures, or lend a helping hand with fire police and traffic control, we have a place for you. As a recruit, Belle Valley Fire Department covers the cost of your fire and EMS training and your safety equipment. We also provide ongoing training during our Wednesday night drills.
